Cynthia Spray Design & Architecture is a full-service architecture and interior design firm based in Boca Raton, Florida. Founded in October 2011, the studio creates sophisticated, livable spaces shaped by each client’s vision, needs, and budget. Its approach brings architecture, interiors, and landscape together through thoughtful planning, material selection, and attention to detail.

Founder Cynthia Spray previously worked with Arquitectonica in Miami and Gresham Smith and Partners in Nashville. Her residential portfolio includes home renovations on Palm Beach Island and in oceanfront Gulf Stream, Florida, as well as oceanfront condominiums. She holds master’s degrees in Architecture and Business.

In 2025, Cynthia received the AIA Palm Beach Gold Medal, recognizing her long-term professional achievements and contributions to the AIA and the wider community.

Born in New York City, raised in Connecticut, Washington, D.C., England, and Switzerland, Cynthia brings an international perspective to her work. She attended Wycombe Abbey School in England and graduated cum laude from The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey before beginning her design career in Miami.

Her work balances creativity with function, combining color, texture, and spatial planning to create interiors that feel distinctive, comfortable, and personal. Through close collaboration, she translates each client’s aspirations into spaces that support everyday life—sophisticated without pretense and designed to endure.

Beyond her practice, Cynthia enjoys fundraising and has served on numerous nonprofit boards throughout her career including being a proud member of the Daughter's of the American Revolution for over twenty years.
